Our vision: A healthier society. Our purpose: To move people!
This is why we get up in the morning. Why we work hard. This is the reason we operate in this market. In everything we do, our top priority is to move people.
By delivering engaging, stimulating, and challenging sports and activity facilities to communities, we inspire movement, which in turn makes people healthier, more active, and happier. The benefits go far beyond the individual and contribute to a healthier society as a whole.
We want to see children put down their phones and play outside. We want to see someone who almost gave up start running again. We want to see top athletes break records. We want to see friends having fun during workouts. We want to see everyone inspired by sports and health. We aim to support the joy of movement and participation – to make people live to move and move to live!
For these reasons, we actively engage with local communities, sports clubs, organizations, and events.
OUR EMPLOYEES – KEY TO OUR SUCCESS
We know our employees are the key to our success. Being the Nordic market leader in sports and activity facilities is highly dependent on the knowledge, passion, dedication, and performance of our team. Our professional team comprises over 130 employees across five countries, and we aim to make Saltex an inspiring and safe workplace for all!
Our strategy is focused on fostering engagement, motivation, and continuous development for our employees. We actively promote health and movement among our staff.
SALTEX CODE OF CONDUCT
The Saltex guidelines, established in 2018, set standards for expected behavior from Saltex directors, employees, and representatives, including all associated companies. Saltex is committed to follow all applicable laws and regulations including the labour and environmental laws and human rights – in our own operations and in relation to our business partners and towards society.
We act responsibly in relation to colleagues, customers, suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, the environment and the whole society we are working and living in. We strive to improve the conditions for health, environment and sustainable development for the society.
We support and respect the international agreements on human rights, as expressed in the UN Declaration of Human Rights. As an employer, Saltex accepts labour rights stated by the International Labour Organization (ILO): freedom of association, the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, the abolition of forced labour and equality of opportunity and treatment.
The integrity, reputation and profitability of Saltex ultimately depend upon the individual actions of our directors, officers, employees and representatives.
